TISA MUN 2025, co-organized by The International School Agra (TISA) and City One Initiative (National Upskilling Organisation). The journey to TISA MUN 2025 began with the comprehensive training of the secretariat members, who were tasked by City One Initiative team with learning the ins and outs of MUN procedures. Their training involved not only understanding the basics of resolution writing and committee management but also honing leadership skills and teamwork. It was a hands-on learning experience for all involved, and the team’s dedication laid the foundation for a smooth and successful event.
One of the first key steps in the process was the creation of promotional materials, such as posters and brochures. These simple tools became vital in spreading awareness and generating interest in the event, ensuring that students and schools in Agra and beyond knew about the upcoming conference. These were co-curated by City One Marketing Team.

The charm was a special committee for Grade 4 and 5 since it was executed for the first time in the history of Agra.
UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council): This committee focused on global human rights issues, challenging delegates to find solutions to injustices around the world. Topics such as refugee rights, women’s rights, and racial discrimination sparked passionate debates.
UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme): With climate change and environmental sustainability being some of the most urgent issues facing the world today, this committee provided delegates with the opportunity to explore policies and strategies aimed at protecting the planet for future generations.
Lok Sabha: Simulating India’s legislative body, this committee allowed delegates to engage in political debate on national issues, offering them a chance to understand the intricacies of law making and governance.
IP (International Press): In the IP committee, delegates assumed the role of journalists, reporting on the proceedings of the other committees. They developed articles and media coverage that highlighted key moments of debate, showcasing the importance of the media in international diplomacy.
Changemakers (Special Committee for Grade 4 and 5): For younger students, this committee allowed them to discuss local issues such as community development and social responsibility. The Changemakers committee, in particular, was a reminder that leadership and change begin at any age.

The opening ceremony of TISA MUN 2025 was a truly impactful moment, setting the tone for the event. It featured the speeches by esteemed School Director, Mr. Sanjay Kalra and Founder-CEO of City One Initiative, Mr. Shivansh Ahuja, Project Lead Ms. Pareedhi Ghiya and MUN Coordinator Mr. Shiva Singhal, followed by an insightful panel discussion with the executive boards and the director of TISA, who discussed the importance of collaboration as a 21st century skill. This discussion covered the essence of teamwork and consensus building in today’s era, especially for the youth.
Furthermore, The opening speeches motivated the delegates, inspiring them to approach their committees with passion, curiosity, and a commitment to finding solutions to complex global issues. The messages conveyed throughout the ceremony also emphasized the importance of ethic values such as collaboration, empathy, and inclusion.
